Anything Else: While finishing up his first retirement tour, Steve Corino was pitted against legendary NJPW and AJPW wrestler, Keiji Mutoh. With a match that earned a nomination for Match of the Year, the two found much respect for one another, for who they are in, and outside of the ring. The two became close, Mutoh often telling Corino about his various stints in the NWA and WCW and suggested that Cornino could possible return to the US and Canada for a final run. Corino liked the idea, but asked Mutoh if he ever thought about doing the same. With a few seconds to think about it, Keiji simply replied: "From time to time, but it's not really my decision, it's the West's decision. But to tell you the truth, HE really doesn't care what the West thinks." Baffled, Corino let the obscure reply be and eventually found his way back to North America, doing what he loves. Not long after, DHWA found a place for Corino as a singles wrestler. Ecstatic, Steve called up Mutoh to tell him the great news and told him that he should really send in an application to the organization. Mutoh replied, "He'll see," and hung up the phone.
That brings us to now. Steve Corino is in DHWA, but isn't alone. He has by his side, one of the most quick-witted minds in the business, the Slickster, The Doctor of Style, the one and only Reverend Slick, who loudly speaks as a mouthpiece for one of the most iconic names and figures in the business, the Pearl of the Orient, The Great Muta. Dispite Corino's disdain for the Slickster, Muta has ensured that the Doctor of Style is more than worthy of their presence and insists that he stays around for the time being. But time will truly test the relationship of The Great Muta and the Doctor, will their love stay? Keep your eye on these three gentlemen, because with their unpredictable nature, this whole union can go up in a foggy, green and bitter mist.
