The scene opens up to the latest episode of Friday Night Massacre, watching a tired Corino getting pinned in the ring by his opponent, Hawk Boy. While Hawk Boy is celebrating inside of the ring, the camera follows Corino as he slowly gets out of the ring, heading to the back, hand around his hurt jaw. The camera continues to follow him as he leaves the stage and begins toward his locker room. However, before the beaten veteran can enter his room, The Voice of DHWA, Todd Grisham, runs up beside him, microphone in hand.
"Mister Corino, I was hoping I could get a few words from you."
In one motion, Steve put his hand up, causing Grisham to flinch, but instead of hitting the interviewer, he slicks back his messy hair, giving us a clear view of his eyes. While his face would suggest he isn't in the mood, he slowly nods to the request of Grisham.
"Tonight saw you suffer your first loss in DHWA, what's going through your head?"
"My...first loss in DHWA? You say that Todd, like you think this is going to happen again. Is that what you're trying to say?"
"Uh...no...no! It isn't, I was just mentioning that you had loss tonight."
"Right. Losing tonight to Hawk Boy. Putting me out of the championship run. I know it's a cliche thing to say, but tell me this Todd, how would you feel? Knowing that you've been putting all of this work toward a goal to have it taken away from you in one match? I don't even care what you have to say Todd. Knowing that I was just a match away from taking hold of that championship belt and holding it high, as if it were my crown, but one lucky punk...he manages to take a few cheap shots at me, and beat me. That could happen to anyone, but it shouldn't of happened to me. No, not Steve Corino! Not the KING! OF! OLD! SCHOOL! You know what Todd, I got something for you."
The already red face of Corino turned to an even brighter shade, as he took hold of Grisham's tie, and pushing him off camera. The camera turns to a downed Grisham looking up to the King of Old School and slowly brush himself off, heading in the opposite direction. The camera turns back to Corino, who is already staring right into it.
"I want everyone's attention. Let tonight be an example of my failure. Let this be an example of what happens when a king loses his crown. I don't give a damn who I face next, it could be the Intercontinental Champion Moris, it could be my own partner Muta, or it could be that son of a bitch general manager, Stone Cold Steve Austin. I don't care who it is. I just want you to listen to me and listen close. Hawk Boy may have gotten one up on the old Steve Corino, but that wasn't by skill, that was pure luck. I've said it in the past, I'll say it again, I'll show no mercy inside of that ring. Now that I've got something to drive me even further, you'll be damn lucky to be able to walk out of that ring. As for me? This is my final run and I'm going to be damn sure it's one to remember. In the end of the day, it doesn't matter who wins between Hawk and Muta for that Heavyweight title, because I'll be holding it soon enough. Before I go, I've got one final thing to say. Hawk Boy, just know, that if I ever get a chance to face you again, I won't go easy on you like I did tonight. Now get out of here!"
Angered, Corino shoves the camera out of the way and enters his locker room, slamming the door shut. The camera gets close to the door, allowing muffled yelling and various crashes to be heard. They back up just in time as Corino kicks open the door, causing bits of wood to splinter and fly off into different angles. Still shirtless, a Corino in jeans, carrying his bag, begins to walk off to the parking lot with hate in each step he takes. The last shot is of Corino kicking open the metal doors leading to the parking garage as the camera fades to black.
